Oxygen Scavenger Sachet

Removes residual oxygen to slow oxidation, microbial growth, and spoilage.

Our oxygen scavenger sachets are active packaging solutions designed to remove residual oxygen from sealed containers. Using a food-safe iron-based absorption system, the sachets reduce oxygen levels inside packages to near-zero, helping maintain freshness, color, and product quality. Each sachet is enclosed in breathable, food-safe microporous material that allows oxygen to enter while safely containing the active ingredients.\n\nThese sachets integrate easily into existing packaging lines and are widely used for fresh produce, dried foods, meat, seafood, snacks, and prepared meals. Typical capacities include 100 cc for small retail packs (up to ~0.5 L), 300 cc for medium trays (~1–1.5 L), and 500 cc for larger bulk packs (~2–3 L). Capacity selection is tailored to pack volume and oxygen load.

Comprehensive Product Description

Our oxygen scavenger sachets are advanced active packaging components developed to extend the shelf life and quality of fresh and packaged products. Each sachet contains a proprietary blend of iron-based oxygen-absorbing materials combined with moisture regulators and porous carriers that rapidly react with residual oxygen inside sealed packaging. Once placed inside a container or package, the sachet begins absorbing oxygen and can reduce oxygen concentration from the normal atmospheric level (~21%) to extremely low levels (<0.01%), significantly slowing oxidative spoilage, microbial growth, and discoloration.

These sachets are designed for easy integration into existing packaging lines and are enclosed in breathable, food-safe microporous packaging material that allows oxygen to enter while safely containing the active ingredients. They are widely used across the food industry for products such as fresh produce, dried foods, meat, seafood, snacks, and prepared meals. By controlling the internal atmosphere of packaging, our oxygen scavengers help preserve freshness, improve product stability, and reduce food waste while requiring minimal modification to existing packaging systems.

The technology is particularly valuable for high-value and perishable foods where oxygen exposure rapidly reduces quality, such as mushrooms, berries, fresh meat, and seafood. With multiple absorption capacities available, the sachets can be tailored to match different packaging volumes and oxygen loads, offering flexible and scalable solutions for food processors, distributors, and retailers.
